Sunday, September 9, 2012: Shawn and his guest co-host Nancy Novax interviewed Meryl Dorey, founder of the Australian Vaccination Network, a longstanding forum disseminating vaccine awareness information. Meryl talked about the pertussis vaccine and the myth that the unvaccinated are causing whooping cough in the vaccinated – ironic on several levels – and the threat that are the HPV vaccines. She also discussed the history of abuse, against the AVN site and against her personally, at the hands of a group determined to stop the free flow of vaccine information in Australia.

The issue of trust was be the ubiquitous push for uptake of the HPV vaccines, despite The 2008 New England Journal of Medicine article, Human Papillomavirus Vaccination — Reasons for Caution; Merck’s own finding during clinical trial that about 6% of the population of adolescent women stand a 44% greater chance of developing cervical cancer if they get the vaccine – not to mention that the mass administration of the vaccine to the general public is literally defined by the National Institute of Health as the final phase of clinical trial; and the fact that the HPV vaccines, in only the few years they’ve been administered, have by far the worst record of serious reactions and deaths of all the vaccines.
